📋 How to Reach Us:

These containers are pre-owned, typically retired from international shipping, and available in the following industry-standard conditions:

  • Wind & Watertight (W&WT): Guaranteed to keep out weather and pests; ideal for dry storage and budget-sensitive buyers.
  • Cargo-Worthy (CW): Certified fit for continued use in freight transport; includes valid CSC plates upon request.
  • As-Is: Sold without guarantees; may include cosmetic or structural imperfections, and are priced accordingly.

Use Cases: On-site storage, farming, construction tool sheds, feed supply storage, and residential applications.

Also referred to as “one-trip” units, these containers have only been used once to transport cargo from the factory of origin to the U.S. depot. They are structurally pristine, with minimal wear and fresh paint.

Use Cases: Long-term on-site storage, export usage, business facilities, or when cosmetic appearance is a priority.

📦 Sizes: 20ft standard, 40ft standard, 40ft high cube

High-cube containers are 9'6" tall (vs standard 8'6") and offer additional interior volume. Specialty models may include double-door, open-top, or side-door variations.

Use Cases: Taller machinery storage, shelving modifications, modular housing projects, workshops.

We supply T11, T14, and food-grade ISO tanks that comply with international transport regulations. These tanks are built for bulk liquid or gas transport and stationary storage and meet CSC, IMDG, and UIC certification standards.

Use Cases: Chemical storage, food-grade transport (e.g., milk, oils), industrial bulk liquids.

📏 Capacity: 20,000 – 26,000 liters

Reefers are temperature-controlled shipping containers fitted with integrated refrigeration units. They maintain internal temps ranging from -20°C to +20°C, suitable for perishable or temperature-sensitive products.

Use Cases: Cold storage for food distributors, pharmaceutical logistics, florists, event catering.

Power Requirements: 3-phase electric (or genset by request)

We offer customized builds on a case-by-case basis, including:

  • Personnel or roll-up doors
  • Windows, vents, insulation
  • Electrical systems
  • Custom paint or shelving
  • Office conversions and retail pop-ups

🛠️ All modified units are subject to availability, project review, and extended production timelines (typically 2–4 weeks).

🟨 Product Availability Considerations

All container sales are subject to the following conditions:

Inventory fluctuates based on nationwide demand, seasonal surges, and supplier constraints. Certain units, such as ISO tanks or reefers, may require sourcing from specialized depots.

Your final container availability and pricing may depend on the distance to the nearest depot holding your requested spec. We maintain relationships with multiple depot networks across the U.S. to minimize delivery time and cost, but not all container types are available in every region.

Container pricing is impacted by global steel costs, fuel surcharges, and international shipping cycles. All quotes are time-sensitive and valid for a limited period (usually 72 hours).

🟨 Our Rights Regarding Order Fulfillment

To maintain a reliable and fair ordering process, 24/7 Container Inc. reserves the right to:

We may refuse or cancel an order at any stage if:

  • Inventory is no longer available
  • Your requested unit type cannot be delivered to your location
  • Your site is determined to be inaccessible or unsafe for standard delivery

In rare cases, we may offer to substitute a container with a unit of equal or higher condition (e.g., upgrading from W&WT to CW) at no additional cost to you. We will never proceed without your explicit approval.

Final container and delivery costs may be adjusted based on:

  • Changes in fuel prices
  • Longer-than-average delivery routes
  • Depot storage transfer costs or container scarcity

All pricing changes will be disclosed and explained in writing before order finalization.

📌 Visual Disclaimer:

Images of containers displayed on our website are provided for general reference only. While we aim to match units as closely as possible, actual delivered containers—particularly used ones—may vary in appearance based on inventory condition and depot origin.

🔹 5. Quotes, Orders & Payment Terms

We believe in clear, upfront communication when it comes to pricing and payment — because trust begins before the sale.

Here’s how our quoting and order process works, and what you need to know to move forward confidently with your purchase.

how container purchases are governed

📩 How Our Quotes Work

Every quote we issue is:

  • Custom-built based on your location, container type, availability, and delivery requirements
  • Designed to reflect current market rates and logistics feasibility

Unless otherwise stated, all quotes are:

  • Non-binding until confirmed by both parties in writing
  • Valid for 72 hours from the time of issue (due to fluctuating transport costs, fuel prices, and depot availability)

Once the quote expires, pricing may change based on updated market conditions or container stock.

📦 How to Place an Order

To secure a container and schedule delivery, the following steps are required:

We’ll send a written proposal including container specs (e.g., size, grade, photos if applicable), pricing, delivery fee, and estimated drop-off window.

Payment must be made in full unless a split-payment or deposit-based agreement has been discussed in advance. No container is dispatched until funds are confirmed as cleared.

Clients must confirm understanding of:

  • Delivery site accessibility (e.g., tilt-bed clearance, flatbed requirements)
  • Required equipment (if offloading is client’s responsibility)
  • Site preparation expectations (level ground, no obstructions)

You will receive a Confirmation of Order once these steps are complete.

💳 Accepted Payment Methods

To ensure security and convenience, we accept the following payment types:

MethodDetails
Bank Transfers (ACH or Wire)Preferred for fastest order confirmation. Payment instructions provided in quote.
Certified ChecksAccepted with prior approval. Order processing begins only after funds clear.
Other OptionsIn rare cases, we may accept credit card payments with a processing surcharge. Contact sales for approval.

  • Net 7 or Net 15 payment windows may be available depending on volume, credit history, and prior engagement.

🚨 Important: Orders are not guaranteed or scheduled for delivery until payment is received and confirmed.

🧾 Invoices & Payment Records

  • Every transaction is accompanied by a formal invoice stating unit type, delivery conditions, tax (if applicable), and total cost breakdown.
  • Upon payment, we issue a receipt and booking confirmation with expected delivery timeframes.
  • For larger orders or multiple-unit purchases, payment schedules can be customized upon agreement.

🔐 Secure & Confidential

Your financial information is handled with the utmost confidentiality. All payment details are managed through secure, encrypted channels, and are never shared outside of our authorized billing department.

⏳ Missed or Delayed Payments

If a client does not complete payment within the quote window:

  • Pricing, availability, and delivery timelines may change
  • A new quote may be required
  • Stocked containers may be released to other buyers

Placing an order with 24/7 Container Inc. is simple, transparent, and fast — as long as payment and delivery requirements are met in full.

🚚 Delivery Methods We Use

We partner with trusted logistics operators and utilize the following transport methods depending on the container type, your site conditions, and the delivery region:

MethodDescriptionBest Used For
Tilt-Bed Truck (Rollback)The truck bed tilts, allowing the container to slide into place by gravity.Standard deliveries of 20ft or 40ft containers to open, level areas.
Flatbed TruckContainer arrives on a flat trailer. Client provides forklift, crane, or offloading equipment.Commercial clients with loading infrastructure or for bulk multi-unit orders.
Crane-Assisted TruckThe container is lifted and placed with a mounted or separate crane.Difficult-access areas: steep terrain, narrow entrances, or urban environments.

We evaluate the most efficient and safe delivery method once your order, location, and site conditions are reviewed.

💰 How Delivery Pricing Is Calculated

Container delivery pricing is customized per order and based on the following three core variables:

  • The farther your location is from our closest container depot, the higher the cost.
  • Nationwide rates typically range between $2.50–$4.00 per loaded mile.
  • We always try to route from the nearest yard to minimize cost and delivery time.
  • Larger and heavier containers (e.g., 40ft High Cube, ISO tanks, modified units) may require heavy-duty equipment, more fuel, and higher handling fees.
  • Reefer containers may incur additional power management charges if temperature needs must be maintained during transit.
  • If your property has limited access, tight turns, soft or muddy ground, low-hanging wires, or lacks offloading equipment — we must arrange for crane assistance, escorted delivery, or special handling.
  • Additional charges may apply depending on terrain difficulty or delays during offload.

📍Important: If our delivery team encounters an unfit or inaccessible site, and the container cannot be safely delivered, we will reschedule — but a redelivery fee will apply.

📦 What Delivery Includes

Your delivery includes:

  • Professional transport from depot to your location
  • One scheduled drop-off attempt
  • Basic coordination with the driver prior to arrival (you’ll be contacted 24 hours in advance)
  • Placement of the container at your designated accessible spot

Additional services like repositioning or craning the unit over structures must be arranged in advance.

👤 Client Responsibilities Before Delivery

To ensure a successful and smooth delivery, we ask all clients to complete the following:

Make sure the ground is level, firm, and stable — gravel, concrete, or compacted dirt work best. Soft, sloped, or uneven ground increases the risk of misplacement or truck instability.

Delivery trucks require an unobstructed path at least 10–12 feet wide and 13+ feet tall with 60–100 feet of straight clearance (for tilt-bed).

You or your authorized representative must be present to direct placement, sign documentation, and address any last-minute concerns. Missed appointments may result in additional handling charges.

A site inspection checklist or basic preparation guide can be provided upon request.

⏱️ Estimated Timelines & What May Affect Them

We work hard to meet your timeline — but it’s important to understand that delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.

Factors that may affect your delivery schedule include:

  • Weather Conditions
Severe rain, snow, or wind can delay transport or prevent trucks from accessing rural roads or undeveloped job sites.
  • Carrier Availability
During peak seasons or high-demand surges, certain delivery windows may book out several days in advance.
  • Site Readiness Delays
If your location isn’t ready (e.g., soft ground, blocked access, unapproved entry), rescheduling will be required.

📞 You’ll be kept informed via email, phone, or SMS 48–24 hours before delivery with exact timing and contact details for the driver.

🔹 7. Warranties & Condition Acknowledgment

We inspect all containers before shipment. However:

  • Used containers are sold “as-is” unless otherwise stated in writing
  • Cosmetic wear (surface rust, dents, paint fading) is expected with used units
  • New/One-trip containers may show minor transit marks from initial cargo use
  • Modified containers are final sale and inspected at each customization stage
  • We guarantee:
  • Wind & water tightness for all certified used containers
  • Operational reefer units and tanks unless sold as non-working (clearly marked)

You agree to:

  • Inspect the container upon delivery
  • Notify us of any material issues within 24 hours

🚫 We are not liable for delays, incidental damages, or misuse after delivery.

🔹 8. Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

Due to the nature of container logistics:

  • Orders cancelled before dispatch may be eligible for a partial refund (minus admin & logistics prep costs)
  • Orders cancelled after dispatch are non-refundable
  • Returned containers are not accepted unless explicitly agreed upon in writing

Custom builds and modified containers are non-refundable, due to personalization and resource allocation.

🔹 9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, 24/7 Container Inc. shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages that may arise from or relate to the use, delivery, placement, or functionality of any container or container-related service purchased from us.

This includes — but is not limited to — any losses or costs associated with:

  • Delays in delivery due to weather, road conditions, or third-party carrier issues
  • Missed deadlines related to job sites or project start dates
  • Damage to surrounding property or landscape during container placement
  • Loss of business, opportunity, profit, or use due to container malfunction or misapplication
  • Issues arising from misuse, unauthorized modifications, or failure to maintain the container after delivery

📌 Why this matters: While we take every possible step to ensure quality and performance, containers are large industrial assets, and real-world conditions can vary significantly from one site or use case to another. This clause helps us continue to serve clients fairly and consistently without assuming liability for variables outside our direct control.

🔐 Our Maximum Liability Is Capped

If a claim is made and determined to be valid, our maximum liability will not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific container or service in question.
This cap exists regardless of the nature of the claim or legal theory under which it is brought — whether breach of contract, negligence, warranty, or otherwise.

This ensures a fair and proportionate risk structure — allowing us to maintain pricing and service levels for all clients.

⚠️ Your Responsibility: Local Use, Compliance & Site Preparation

You accept full responsibility for:

  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm whether a container can be legally placed on the delivery site.
  • You are responsible for obtaining any required permits, inspections, or foundation approvals before or after delivery.
  • You must ensure that your intended use of the container (e.g., for habitation, business operations, chemical storage, etc.) complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • We do not provide legal or engineering advice regarding land use or code compliance.
  • Once the container is delivered and signed for, any movement, relocation, or modification is carried out at the client’s own risk.
  • Damage due to improper relocation, stacking, cutting, or repurposing without expert guidance is not covered.

🧠 Why This Policy Benefits You as a Buyer

Limiting liability isn’t about avoiding accountability — it’s about making sure:

  • You get honest, transparent pricing
  • We focus on what we control and guarantee
  • There’s a clear line between product quality and site conditions we cannot verify remotely

This policy is standard across the shipping container industry and reflects best commercial practices to keep the buying process clear, professional, and fair for both parties.
